★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Säule am Hauptplatz von Sopron. Zentral am Platz gelegen. Auf den ersten Blick wirkt sie nicht besonders, da fast jede größere Stadt eine ähnliche Statue im Zentrum hat, aber bei genauerem Betrachten sieht man die ganzen detailreich ausgearbeiteten Figuren und Inschriften erst genau genug. Rund um die Statue sind Sitzbänke aufgestellt, sodass man sich am Hauptplatz ausruhen kann. Viel Zeit verbringt man bei der Statue üblicherweise nicht, trotzdem ist es ein schönes Bauwerk in Sopron.

At first glance, it does not seem particularly, as almost every major city has a similar statue in the center, but on closer inspection you can see all the detailed detailed figures and inscriptions just enough. Benches are set up around the statue so you can rest on the main square. You do not usually spend a lot of time with the statue, but it is still a beautiful building in Sopron.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 1695! Fantasztikus történelmi emlék. 1695-ben állították, és mint megannyi Szentháromság szobrot, ezt is pestisjárvány idején készítették. Gyönyörű, gazdag részletekkel megformált barokk alkotás. Fontos, hogy Közép-Európában itt jelenik meg először a kültéri csavart oszlop mint szoborelem. Érdekes, hogy az egykori adakozók térdeplő alakokként megjelennek.
Kellemes a lépcsőin leülni, nézelődni.
1695! Fantastic historical monument. It was erected in 1695, and as many Trinity statues, it was made during a plague epidemic. Beautiful baroque artwork with rich details. It is important that the Central Twisted Column appears as the statue element for the first time in Central Europe. Interestingly, the former donors appear as kneeling shapes.
Pleasant to sit down on your stairs and look.

The vow statue was erected in 1701 by Countess Katalin Thököly and her husband Count Jacob Löwenburg for surviving the plague of many victims in Central Europe from 1695 to 1701. It is one of the most beautiful in Hungary.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Mimořádná stavba tím, že se jedná o první venkovní točený sloup v celé střední Evropě. V okolí na náměstí jsou restaurace, kostely a také Infocentrum.
Extraordinary construction in that it is the first outdoor turntable in Central Europe. In the vicinity of the square there are restaurants, churches and also an information center.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A tér hangulatos. Körös-körül éttermek, kávézók, borozók. A Nagyboldogasszony templom. Van lehetőség beülni valahová egy üdítőre, vagy csak megpihenni a padokon. A Templom utca is hangulatos.
The space is cozy. All around restaurants, cafes, wine bars. The Church of the Assumption. It is possible to sit somewhere for a soft drink or just relax on the benches. Church Street is also cozy.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ La Estatua de la Trinidad está en la Plaza Mayor de esta ciudad pequeña pero muy bonita en el noroeste de Hungría. Es una de las obras más valiosas de la escultura barroca húngara. Fue la primera columna retorcida al aire libre en Europa Central. La plaza en sí es un lugar turístico e histórico con esta estatua y la Iglesia de la Coronación al lado. En la plaza hay varios bancos para poder sentarse y descansar.
The Trinity Statue is in the Main Square of this small but very pretty city in northwestern Hungary. It is one of the most valuable works of Hungarian Baroque sculpture. It was the first open-air twisted column in Central Europe. The square itself is a tourist and historical place with this statue and the Coronation Church next to it. In the square there are several benches to sit down and rest.
