I learned that around 1200--1500 Hungary, especially Transylvania, was the gold supplier to the world. Perhaps that is why Romania wants to keep even the part which would like to be in Hungary. Minerals--it'a all about $$$.
A	Ashleigh Bate on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Fantastic, very interesting, lots to read about (in hungarian, German and English) and we loved the interactive sections - fun for children too! Staff were so friendly and polite, worth the visit :)

There were some interactive sessions also, when you are using the mine slide and the mine wagon that is a kind of fun. If you have some time, give a try. I suggest to do a more interactive exhibition, where everyone can find fun.
