The concept of the Trinity is interpreted differently by quite a few teachers, according to whom the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit deny the existence of one and the same, the Unitarians of Transylvania, for example, and even there are innumerable variations between the two. So how does a sculptor depict it? Anyway, the country-world is full of Holy Trinity statues, and I also saw an amazing non-figurative thing in wood carving at this title. This group of sculptures from Nagykanizsa, made in Graz, bears Baroque features. It stands on Elizabeth Square, and in addition Hungarian kings have a seat on the staff. St. Stephen or St. Ladislaus, who was once so dignified and heroic, slumped some court dance here rather frivolously, but in any case they were carved into a gingerbread pose like the custom of medieval French rulers, with large buckets and vases on their heads. But it's baroque, isn't it? . . Let's not even talk about Prince Imre.
