Really great food, with friendly and fast service. Highly recommend on your next trip to Budapest! Very good prices - everything tasted fresh. Note that there is an hour-long break in the middle of the day between lunch and dinner.

The food is ok. I was there today, but unfortunately sat on a chair that had a hidden screw sticking out of it. This screw completely ripped my brand new pants. The restaurant didn't even offer compensation or give me a free drink; instead, they gratefully accepted the tip. When I pointed out the problem again in a very friendly manner at the cash register, the waiters behind the desk spoke to one another in Hungarian, not knowing that my companion understood everything. I found this very impolite, especially since they suggested that I was upset (which was definitely not the case; I just pointed out the problem in a very friendly manner). Also for halachic reasons, compensation would have been appropriate here. All in all, an annoying, but above all very unfriendly incident, which also runs very counter to my previous impression of the restaurant, because I always had service and food in good memory. What a pity.

From the moment I entered the store the waiter started giving us attitude just because he seemed to be in a bad mood. After, We waited for our food for a very long time. Close to 40 minutes. Very bad service. I Wouldn’t come back here even if I’m hungry in Hungary.

Despite walking in with strong expectations, the only thing I left with was a strong appetite. The only thing worse than the food was the service. My group waited an astounding 45 min before being served cold food. Not impressed.

Had high expectations and was very excited for this meal. Our first encounter was a rude waitress who told us to throw out our bottle of water that we had bought elsewhere even after we offered to put it away. The food took a while to come and portion sizes were average although the food did taste lovely. No desserts on the menu which is a shame. We sat upstairs and found the heat rather stifling. 2 separate tables asked for the air conditioning but both requests were ignored and we had to settle for an open window. The prepackaged baked goods being sold are overpriced compared to the local kosher shop. Very average experience and I think staff need to work on their attitude!

Quaint little cafe set in middle of Jewish Quarter. As has been mentioned on the other reviews the service was very poor and rude to the point where my companion and I almost walked out due to their behaviour. The food was ok and could've been better with a little more care and attention. It's a shame as it has the ingredients to be a wonderful place but let's itself down. It is the only milky kosher restaurant in town so a little competition would be useful to push up standards. Menu could've done with some sweeter treats as is common with all other cafes. Requires improvement.

The most delicious of all meals I ate in Budapest. Portions big enough to have a full happy belly. Very pleasant and kind staff ? I recommend this place to everyone who likes good food ?
