★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A Balázs-pihenőhöz vezető út (Szaniszló út) amelyet 1904. évben építették az akkor még nem létező Szaniszló pihenőtől a Tettyére. Amelyet Suha Rezső városi erdőmester jelölt ki. A turistaút hossza 1342 méter, 122 lépcsőn kellett lépkedni, hogy a Tettyére érjünk. Ezen lépcsősor és támfal Tettye felőli legalsó szakasza került teljes felújításra a BIOKOM NKft. Erdőgazdálkodási részleg dolgozói által. Mivel a kirándulók jelentős száma a Mecsek-kapu helyett inkább a Tettye felől indul el egy kis erdei sétára a Mecsekbe így a Tettye kapu elnevezést kapta.
