The Ritz-Carlton, Budapest - Budapest

I’ve been meaning to write this review for a while. We stayed in many amazing hotels so far, including a few Ritz Carltons but the one in Budapest was absolutely outstanding! It’s a beautiful hotel of course but the staff was incredible. So welcoming, helpful and professional. It was our little 3 months old baby’s first trip and they prepared the room with some really lovely and heart warming surprises. The gentleman (I think his name was Istvan) who helps with the luggages and helped us with the restaurant bookings was so insanely lovely - but like literally everyone from reception to the restaurant staff were incredible. They truly make this place. My husband and I still talk about them. The food in the restaurant was outstanding also. We ended up having almost every meal in the hotel. We hope to visit again soon.

It was a perfect stay all the way from check-in to check-out. Rebeka greeted me at reception and was very personable and accommodating. She was super nice and made sure all of my family’s needs are taken care of. Thank you so much, Rebeka. The room was absolutely phenomenal, as an ambassador elite member I got upgraded to a gorgeous suite on the 8th floor with a terrace and a stunning view of the city! It was one of the best rooms I’ve enjoyed in my life so far, and I do travel a lot :) My parents and I had the best time at the spa - make sure to check it out; the pool, hot tub, sauna and steam room were top-notch. Mazega and Vera were wonderful and always greeted us with smile and care. The room was kept meticulously clean at all times, with all the amenities one might possibly need. Thank you Maria and Hana. Chloe from In Room Dining took care of all of my requests (I have quite a few :) ) and was super nice, it was wonderful to see her in the morning bringing delicious breakfast. Really, every person that we came in touch with was amazing and caring. Akos, Gabriella, Ravi from front office - thank you for looking out for us. THANK YOU, LADIES AND GENTLEMEN OF RITZ-CARLTON, BUDAPEST. We had the best stay.

I have already left a review on trip advisor but feel I need to let everyone know how special this hotel is. The staff both front and back of house are superb They make a hotel chain more personal and special. Thank you so much from us both. PENELOPE AND GLYN

We had the most amazing stay with a very warm welcome. From the reservation department assisting with the reservation prior to the stay, to the warm hospitality received at our arrival and throughout the stay, I am lost for words and very grateful for everything. It was a wonderful hotel experience and I highly recommend this property. The location is really central and even though there are other decent 5 star hotels in the city, none of them can match the service from the ladies and gentlemen of Ritz Carlton Budapest. A special thank you to Melissa and her thoughtful welcome gesture and to Balazs from the club lounge who went out of his way to assist us. He was very attentive and caring to all the guests pampering all of us in the lounge. It is because of diamond associates such a Balazs that Marriott will forever be my home away from home. Thank you for this unforgettable hotel experience, we will be back.

I'm just angry! I'm usually a really quiet and patient person, but what they did to us here is really the last! We ordered before 4 other guests but didn't get our food until after we were about to leave. I definitely lost my appetite. when I then asked why everyone else was served food before us, there was no real answer, even an apology was almost too much to ask. We are regular guests at great restaurants and I'm really shocked at how people can treat their guests like that! who orders first gets first ? No, we know that it is not always possible and that the food can vary! dear ones, if you want to work at a higher level, maybe you should learn to serve your customers better! We will definitely never eat here again or just go out for a drink! Absolutely not recommended!!!!!!!!!!!!

Great hotel, friendly and welcoming staff and plush accommodations. Our room was ready early and the desk staff remembered our names every time we came through the lobby. Decent location - a short walk to the river, short walk the other way to mid-city attractions. Would stay here again.

Great hotel. Very well located between 3 metro lines and many busses and trams. Service is great. The staff is working so hard to let you feel welcomed. Very good breakfast as well, but there are very good alternatives for breakfast elsewhere so it is good to combine between the two. For me the hotel worth every penny

The Ritz Carlton, Budapest was incredible , my family and I came to the Ritz Carlton on the 3rd of April after a long day of traveling and by no surprise everything in our room was there for us like water towels etc. The amenities, pool, spa were amazing and practically had everything a person would want in a spa. The room was clean and comfy the housekeeping would have your room clean in a matter of minutes. The food at the restaurant was good but pricey. The staff were attentive, nice, and caring. The service was phenomenal one of the best ever not once at our stay the staff said no to one of our requests. If you are looking for a nice stay in Budapest I recommend the Ritz Carlton.
