Il luogo è abbastanza tranquillo ed il parco è ben curato, l'edificio stesso ha bisogno di un bel restauro. Prima che la contea venisse spaccata in due e vasti territori ungheresi passassero sotto la neonata Romania, questa era una zona ricca di palazzi e residenze signorili adesso la maggior parte in rovina o completamente distrutte. Poco oltre il parchggio si trova una piccola casetta estiva dove il poeta Arany Jànos amava trascorrere le giornate (A metà del XIX°sec era l'insegnante di famiglia). Residence of the Tisza family in Geszt, it is now a school surrounded by greenery. The place is quite quiet and the park is well cared for, the building itself needs a nice restoration. Before the county was split into two large Hungarian territories they passed under the newly formed Romania, this was an area full of palaces and stately homes now most of them in ruins or completely destroyed. Just beyond the parking lot there is a small summer house where the poet Arany Jànos loved to spend the days (in the mid-19th century he was the family teacher).

Így is gyönyörű, bár még nyilván látszik rajta az elmúlt 250 év nehéz időszaka, viszont mint megtudtuk: amint a Covid-19 miatti korlátozások engedik, teljes külső-belső felújításon fog átesni a kastély, a melléképületek és a kastély kert egyaránt. Azért adtam 5 csillagot, mert valaki időt nem sajnálva elintézte, hogy ez a csodás épület a közeljövőben újra régi fényében ragyoghasson. ? At the moment you can't visit the castle, you can only walk around from the outside. BUT! It is still beautiful, although it still shows the difficult period of the last 250 years, but as we have learned: as soon as the restrictions due to Covid-19 allow, the castle, the outbuildings and the castle garden will be completely renovated. I gave it 5 stars because someone, without regreting the time, arranged for this wonderful building to shine in its old light again in the near future. ?

Akkor is érdemes lesz majd felkeresni. Jelenleg csak a kastély parkja látogatható. Nice ancient park with 2 wonderful maple leaf sycamore trees in front of the main facade of the castle. Renovation of the building will start soon, which will take approx. It lasts for 2 years. You will still be worth a visit. Currently, only the castle park can be visited.

Szomorú, hogy a 2019-óta húzódó felújítás valószínűleg lényegesen több lesz nettó 5,5 milliárd forintnál. Nehéz felfogni, hogy az állami pénzből felújítandó kastély ingyen a református egyház kezelésébe kerül… It is good to know that this great castle will also be saved for posterity.
