“There is a study trail at Tiszaörvény. Shall we see? We walk a bit and read some interesting things at the information points, ”so my wife and I set off from Debrecen today. We got a lot more than that. Wherever we went, we met helpful people. A nice lady served us at the Lake Tisza Grill Buffet, a smiling girl greeted us at the port of Szabics and an indescribably sympathetic uncle took us on a speedboat to the study trail (our trip back and forth only took a few minutes, but there was plenty of useful information, the curiosity and kindness we received from him lasted all day). It was a long unexperienced experience when birds with smaller and larger bodies allowed themselves close. We loved walking on the planks. We had a lot of fun when we had to pull ourselves from one shore to another on rope-hung boats. We could read interesting things at the information points. We were able to completely disconnect at the lake at the end of the study trail, where we could moor one of the finished boats for an unlimited time. Nature has not yet turned green. The water level was low. The temperature barely reached 5 degrees. We did not have the opportunity to try some of the interactive elements. But even so, we felt that we had spent an unforgettable day together (together with the speedboat trip, it all cost 1,800 forints per person - we wouldn't be able to rent a pedalo for half an hour elsewhere). We will definitely be back in the spring. And we'll come with the kids one day. And with our friends. And with our parents and grandparents. We had an experience that we wanted to experience several times and share with others.

The Tiszavirág and Pákász educational trails are also a huge experience, I can only recommend them! It was adventurous, interesting, informative and even in the mild spring weather it was a lot of fun! It can also be visited with a dog, he also really enjoyed it.

We were on March 5th, they were very kindly received, the boats were put on the water that morning. In this case, nature still shows the face of winter, mosquito simcs ?, on the study trail, besides us, they were only busy installing information boards.

After purchasing a ticket from Szabics port, they will take you to the study trail. Wooden bridge, lookouts, boating, information boards, huts, carousel ... throw up this natural island. There is a lot of mud in rainy weather, but rubber boots are provided on the snowmobile trail, which we reach by boat with a rope, but this muddy detour can also be omitted. There are plenty of mosquitoes. They come for us waving at will. Good program!

It is a magical place, full of the characteristic, yet special wildlife of Lake Tisza. I recommend it to everyone who loves the wildness of nature. Tip: hiking boots / rubber boots and 1 bottle of a good kind of mosquito repellent are essential for a pleasant hike!

You can approach the study trail by boat, which is a pleasant walking route with many attractions and adventures for the children. We have seen many protected and rare fungi and plants. The Tiszavirág floodplain walkway, starting from the largest port of Lake Tisza, the Szabics port of Tiszaörvény, together with the adventurous Pákász educational trail, shows the most comprehensive picture of the rich wildlife of the river and the lake. In addition, as a hiking tourist, you can explore the wild romantic softwood floodplain jungle, the mazes of the reed world, and even hang out on the romantic, crystal-clear inner lake covered with water lilies in Göbe. Length of the tour: 4 km, together with the Pákász educational trail 5 km. Duration of the tour: 1.5 - 2 hours, the Pákász educational trail depends largely on the soil conditions. Starting point: Tisza Vortex, Szabics Harbor. From Tiszafüred we can approach Tiszaörvény, arriving in the village we walk along Füredi utca, then turn right at the church and drive left at the Hableány restaurant on the road of the dam, where we soon reach the barrier-covered area of ​​the harbor. By car we can go into the port and leave the car there. Opening hours: Every day from 9 am to 5 pm, depending on the weather. Admission: adult: 1800 HUF Nature of the tour: Easy, family tour, the Tiszavirág educational trail is a pleasant, mostly wide walk. At the beginning of the Pákász educational trail, it is no accident that the rubber boots are unloaded, they can be used safely, the terrain is swampy, muddy, a real adventure tour. At the entrance, be sure to check the Pákász route at all, it is not recommended after heavy rains and may even be dangerous. The biggest bitters of the trip are mosquitoes, unfortunately they draw in teams not only in the evening but also during the day and do not spare anyone. Have a mosquito repellent with us, but at the starting station of the study trail you are usually always exposed to a few bottles for free use. Binoculars can be rented for bird watching in the harbor.
