A Tízparancsolat (héberül: עֲשֶׂרֶת הַדִּיבְרוֹת ă`szeret haddivrót) a judaizmus és a kereszténység alapját képező legfontosabb vallási és erkölcsi parancsolatokat tartalmazza, amelyet a Biblia szerint Jahve (Isten) adott Mózesnek a Sínai hegyén, 40 napos böjtje után, két kőtáblára írva. Isten Tízparancsolata így szól: Kiv 20,1-17 1. Uradat, Istenedet imádd, és csak neki szolgálj! 2. Isten nevét hiába ne vedd! 3. Az Úr napját szenteld meg! 4. Atyádat és anyádat tiszteld! 5. Ne ölj! 6. Ne paráználkodj! 7. Ne lopj! 8. Ne hazudj, mások becsületében kárt ne tégy! 9. Felebarátod házastársát ne kívánd! 10. Mások tulajdonát ne kívánd!
