★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A delightful and intimate dining experience. I booked this restaurant to celebrate my boyfriend's birthday during a weekend trip to Budapest. I wanted something authentic with a hungarian menu and romantic atmosphere. I couldn't have been more pleased! The service was impeccable, the food and wine delicious and the pianist played beautifully. Would highly recommend. Tip: remember to check the dress code when booking any restaurant (which I failed to do) and hadn't warned my boyfriend it was a dinner jacket occasion..woops.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ An outdated place with a haughty owner. He comes up to your table, tells you that he is the owner and expects you to be amazed instantly. Unfortunately the food wasn’t amazing, in fact, no one was really satisfied at our table. There is only one vegetarian option and that’s a starter... Not the quality I expected.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Went here for New Years Eve! The owner was so lovely and accommodating and it’s clear he takes pride in customers enjoying themselves. The service was amazing, everyone was so professional and warm, very attentive with smiles all around even though they had to work on New Year’s Eve.
The special NYE set menu was 100% worth it, with a live band and a well paced evening. Food was absolutely delicious, bursting with flavour all around and nicely presented.
The restaurant itself is beautiful, extremely tasteful with a formal but also homely feel. A quiet venue tucked away out of the touristy city centre, absolutely perfect for any celebrations!
