Short story: I asked for a refund as I did turn up at the apartment and they were the ones cancelling my booking but they refused to give me a refund.... This is unfair and they using their power to suck money out of people even in these tough times we are facing. They could do it with anyone as they can use the non-refunding policy to their advantage so I don't recommend anyone to stay here. Im really disappointed. What happened before (if you would like to read more): I would not recommend this place to anyone. I have booked in for a night a few hours before my stay however they cancelled my booking and contacted me about it in email. The reason was that I did not provide documents they asked for. They emailed me asking for the documents and cancelled my booking about 1-2 hours after I booked the apartment. As I did not receive any more information within 30-60 mins other than that they deducted the money and sent my pin and booking confirmation I thought its all done and went along doing my stuff and preparing for checking in and did not look at my email. After arriving the security said they cancelled my booking and the office did not pick up the phone to my call. My night turned awful.... They should have called me on my phone number to let me know about cancelling my booking or help me provide the information they needed because it was around the time I was suppose to check in. The customer service is the worst I have ever experienced. Horrible. The pictures they have on booking are misleading, deceptive and the reality is totally different. I got a studio between two very tight yards, were there are many other studios, not all of them being part from Vagabond. In the pictures there are only photos with the big inner yard, more spacious so you will be tempted to believe that your view will be on that side. The attitude of the staff towards customer is lousy. I asked them to help me with some noisy neighbours and they told me that they can't help me, because the noise is coming from some appartments they don't own. I also had other small demands and they had the same attitude. They said that, if they continue, I can call the police. The shoutings continued and, 30 minutes later, I called again at the reception but they ignored my calls. The tv is useless, unless you understand hungarian. There are only about 8 channels available from 100, all dubbed in hungarian, including the international ones. So, if you are staying for a longer period, take your laptop with you, otherwise tv will be just an useless piece of furniture. The unit is situated near the ruin bars and there are many chances to have noisy and drunk neighbours, in the middle of the night. The attitude of the staff is very arogant, with "I don't care, you're by your own" approach. So, if you want to stay in a studio/apartment with a narrow yard (similar view with those you see in the prison movies), with noisy drunk/ drugged neighbours, this is your place. Therefore, the name "Vagabond" suits very well, because it would rather be more appropriate to shelter homeless people, drug addicts and drunk people. For the price you pay here, you can find many other accomodation options, much more better than this tourist trap. It's definitely the worst accomodation and customer oriented attitude I ever met in the past 6 or 7 years.

Comfortable place but the reception was not as helpful as it could / should.

Elevator is broken. So you need up your luggage for 4th floor. Dont give enough keys

I had a very nice studio apartment. Very spacious and had all the needed amenities. Great value for money.

I was charged 100 euros for a lost plastic key. I asked to talk to the manager and the manager refuse to talk to me. Also, the pictures are misleading, not what you expect for a 4-star hotel. In the first studio, the water was all over the bathroom after you take a shower. The explanation I received was that they have so many tourists that they don't have the time to fix it. I assume customers should be responsible for that. I stayed 6 nights and they didn't clean my place not a single time. Again, not what you expected for a 4 star hotel

Great location, decent prices, apartments are big and clean. Shower stand was broken though so having a shower was a bit more of a pain than usual. And for some reason the double beds had 2 single duvets rather than double ones. I'd stay there again though.
