Szent hely, szent elmélkedés , szent csend. Jó itt. Easter Sunday. We cannot attend worship. We went to the Calvary Hill in Városlőd. Here we listened to the worship. A stációkkal és kápolnával történő kibővités a hívek már 1836-ban Városlődön is sok áldozatot szedő kolerajárvány után elhatározták, de a megvalósítás az 1850 évekig váratott magára. 1859 nyarára elkészültek a stációk és a kápolna is. The first appearance of the Calvary, known to us, is found on the map material of the first military survey of the 2nd József Age (1784). Extension with the stations and the chapel was decided by the believers in 1836 even after the collapse of cholera, which took many sacrifices, but the implementation was expected until 1850. By the summer of 1859, the stations and the chapel were completed.

A baráti társaságunk a Forrás Vendégház kis-vonatával tett kirándulás alkalmával látogatta meg a Kálváriát, amely nagyon kellemes emlék. Szép környezet egy jó társasággal. Első írásos említése a II.József-kori első katonai felmérés városlődi térképanyagán található,mely a falutól délre három keresztes kálváriajelenetet jelöl. 1859 májusára készült el a hat kő stáció. 1860.augusztus 12-én szentelték fel a kálvária kápolnát. A keresztút hat állomását az 1870-es években egészítették ki 14-re. A stációoszlopokon látható domborművek Farkas Tibor alkotása. Calvary is located in the part of the village where the Germans settled by the bishop Ádám Acsády of Veszprém in the late 1720s. Its first written mention can be found in the map material of the first military survey of the 2nd Joseph period in Városlőd, which marks three cross-Calvary scenes south of the village. By May 1859, the six stone stations were completed. On August 12, 1860, the Calvary Chapel was consecrated. The six stations of the cross were added to 14 in the 1870s. The reliefs on the station columns are the work of Tibor Farkas.
