Hát lehetne egy kicsit tisztább és rendezettebb a sétány. A sárkány szobor szép .
Well, the promenade could be a little cleaner and more tidy. The dragon statue is beautiful.

Szép, tiszta és rendezett. Jó volt a gyönyörű időben végig sétálni.
Nice, clean and tidy. It was good to walk through the beautiful weather.

Nagyon szépen parkosított sétány, fehér szobrokkal. Az út keleti végpontja a Báthoriak kastélya, nyugat végpontja az Angyalos Boldogasszony templom. A szobrokon keresztül megismerkedhetünk a sárkány kultusszal, a város középkori történelmével, a közelmúltat feltáró ásatások munkáival. Az út keleti szakaszán Leonardo de Vinci hadigépezeteinek rekonstrukcióit is megtaláljuk.
Very nicely landscaped promenade with white sculptures. The eastern end of the road is the Báthoriak castle, the western end is the Church of Our Lady of the Angels. Through the sculptures we can get acquainted with the dragon cult, the medieval history of the city, the works of excavations revealing the recent past. Reconstructions of Leonardo de Vinci's war machines can also be found on the eastern section of the road.

A két templom között húzódó sétány nagyon hangulatos. A Nyírbátor történetéhez kapcsolódó szobrok, leírások mellett szökőkút, pihenéshez padok találhatók. Sajnos a vandalizmus megjelent a köztéri kamerák ellenére. Parkolás a tó környékén, vagy a vár mellett (ingyenes). Érdemes a város központjában a körforgalom és parkot is megnézni (városháza, világháborús szobor, művelődési ház...).
The promenade between the two temples is very cozy. In addition to statues and descriptions related to the history of Nyírbátor, there are fountains and benches for relaxation. Unfortunately, vandalism appeared in spite of public cameras. Parking by the lake or by the castle (free of charge). It is worth visiting the roundabout and park in the city center (city hall, world war statue, cultural house ...).

A szobroknak történelmi üzenete van! A művészeti értékéhez nem tudok hozzászólni (látom, sokan kritizálják) - értékelem, hogy egy ilyen kis városban ennyi szobor, műemlék, turisztikai látványosság van.
The statues have a historical message! I can't comment on the value of art (I see it criticized by many) - I appreciate that in such a small town there are so many statues, monuments and tourist attractions.

Rövid séta, így kicsikkel is bejárható. Könnyen megközelíthető, parkolásra a Rossmannal szemben lévő parkolót javaslom. Babakocsival és kerekesszékkel is járható. Érdemes elolvasni a kihelyezett táblákat. It's a short walk, so little ones can do it too. Easy excess, and I recommand the parking lot across Rossmann (shop). Easy excess for buggies and for wheelchair users too. I recommand reading the boards next to the statues.
It is a short walk, so you can walk around with the little ones. I recommend an easily accessible car park opposite the Rossmann. It is also suitable for prams and wheelchairs. It is worth reading the posted signs. It's a short walk, so little ones can do it too. Easy excess, and I recommend the parking lot across Rossmann (shop). Easy excess for buggies and for wheelchair users too. I recommand reading the boards next to the statues.

I don't know how to start this without hurting the artist, the local authority that signed off the plans and paid for this and the people of Nyìrbàtor but... ...some of the artwork is troubling. I understand that it is the visual representation of a legend but sometimes I reckon we are better off without being able to see how something came to what they are. Like sausages, milk's journey from cow to shop or a Hungarian politician's annual wealth declaration form for Parliament. This latter however would be equally good material for both tragedy and comedy. Anyway, take a nice summer day, start walking from one church to the other on the "sètàny" and you get to the scene with the horseman pulling a man through swords sticking out from the ground - as if just being pulled behind a horse on the ground wouldn't hurt enough, but never underestimate mankind's capacity for cruelty and brutality. Now try to explain that scene to your kids. Don't get me wrong, I love the town and I keep visiting but that piece of artwork does bother me a great deal.
