The open-air exhibition on the border of Hegykő, originally made using mostly contemporary materials, shows how the technical border lock that once divided Europe for five decades worked. A visit to the place is a must if you visit the village, the history is really here!

Létrehozásakor törekedtek eredeti anyagokat felhasználni, ezek hiányában pedig történeti hűséggel alkalmazni a rendelkezésre álló alapanyagokat. Három nyelvű tájékoztató táblák szólnak a vasfüggöny történetéről. A mafi nem kilátó torony, felmászni rá nem szabad. A közelben van egy madármegfigyelő kilátó, ezt érdemes hajnalban meglátogatni. Kicsit beljebb nyílik a Hegykői csatorna, amely kivezet a nyílt vízre, de szigorúan védett terület, ezért nem kenuzható (remélhetőleg egyelőre). When creating it, they tried to use original materials, and in the absence of these, to use the available raw materials with historical fidelity. Information boards on the history of the Iron Curtain are in three languages. The mafi is not a lookout tower, you must not climb on it. There is a bird-watching lookout nearby, which is well worth a visit at dawn. The Hegykő canal opens a little further in, which leads to the open water, but is a strictly protected area, so it is not canoeing (hopefully for the time being).

The spot is 2km away from the thermal baths town. You've got to take a dusty road through a natural park. The place is not very well indicated but it deserves a visit
