The hotel is clean and tidy; the workers are kind, helpful. Suite 10 plus 5⭐️ for the view! The sounds of sunrise, silence and diverse birdlife are priceless! As long as one is outside, a mosquito repellent is a must because “a lot of mosquitoes” is not an expression.

We spent a wonderful three days at the Veránka resort. Lovely helpful staff, delicious and affordable food in the restaurant. Canoeing on the Rezéti Danube. We didn't miss a mosquito either, but we have to reckon with this in the floodplain of the Danube.

It is in a very nice place, the building has been renovated, the staff is kind and helpful, but the whole thing does not come together into a hotel. If it were a corporate resort it would be 5 stars, but for that much money I can only give 3 in the hotel category. Someone wrote to me that there are childhood diseases - well all of them. :-) I recommend for a day or two, half board by no means, because a la cart is cheaper and more varied to eat, it is in a wonderful place, but unfortunately there are plenty of mosquitoes.

Great accommodation in a wonderful setting. Friendly and direct staff. Of course, it's all just a matter of comparison, who is used to exclusive hotels, this is not the place.

We ate there for the first time yesterday. We were greeted very friendly by the waiter and brought to the table. The steak from my husband and also the meat from my skewer was far too well fried and almost dry. Unfortunately the waiter didn't come back in the meantime, otherwise I would have liked to have ordered something to drink. The island is very beautiful and invites you to take beautiful walks.

They were very nice, the place is beautiful. For those who love nature and its closeness, I recommend it with a warm heart. The menu dinner is forgetful but the breakfast is good. The restaurant cooks deliciously anyway. Helpful and flexible.

The only thing that is beautiful is the Danube and the green environment. The accommodation was full of beetles, which I think could have been avoided. The staff drank to our account and even invited our acquaintances (also to our account). In the beginning they didn't even serve us properly, they just stood inside the room and we were referring to ourselves. The bill was closed at 8pm on Saturday so we stayed until Sunday, we had nothing to drink. Very gas place nothing to go there. I would go on and on, but that should be enough.

The place is really special, only accessible by water. The captain leading the hotel’s small boat was extremely friendly and we learned a lot of interesting things from him about the area. The boat is according to the needs of the guests, we did not have to wait for it once, it is very ideal. Some people may have a problem getting back to the accommodation before 8 in the evening, after which it is no longer accessible (for us it was not a problem at all). The panoramic suite offers a picturesque view of the Danube and the Rezét, the view itself is relaxing. The room was laundry clean, the staff was kind, willing, friendly. Unfortunately, the environment here and there is neglected in the immediate vicinity of the hotel. I can’t recommend the restaurant: dinner was forgettable: domestic pork was served as wild boar, but what’s more disappointing is that it was chewy and tasteless. The loudness and unassuming behavior of the "hunters (?)" Who visited the restaurant was strange, but it was obviously not a regular event. In the area (Baja, Gemenc Forest) there are many things to discover. Unfortunately, due to the huge storm damage, the study trail was not accessible, so we could not walk on the island. Maybe next time. Overall, the hotel has huge potential and is in an unparalleled location. It made up for every little negative - I would go back anytime.
