Dear Travelers! I would like to tell you about my experience with accommodation and the area. I would start with accommodation: As a member of a group of friends, I traveled to the Country House apartment complex to taste the wines of the area, to have a good conversation and, of course, to get a little out of the fatigue of the past, so that we feel good. Unfortunately, this did not really work. Arriving at the Country House, we sadly found that not only was no one waiting for us, but then after an hour of trying to reach the operator of the complex who told us the apartments were open, we would book them and have fun. There was no problem with that until his arrival. Upon his arrival, his introduction was exhausted by the fact that he was the owner and in the guest house after 10 there was no loudness, listening to music and if we did not understand this he would call the police. We didn't really understand this attitude because we stayed away from the accommodations and the music really only served as background noise. There was also another company in the yard and they were louder than us (later it turned out this happened to them the day before). It was absolutely impossible to see our hosts during the day, but on the second day it happened. On the third day, the negative attitude towards us became so acute that the “Caterers” took aggressive, threatening behavior and even called a security guard company known from the nightclubs, quoting his words at 9:57 pm: “They will come and unpack us in 3 minutes” . I would add that on arrival they did not understand what was going on here as they are not a savage company. But I wouldn't even look at the attitude further. More like a few words about the accommodation. The complex is a beautifully executed heart-warming building complex that once radiates professionalism but as I have experienced it is a thing of the past. Some of the sockets are hanging from the wall, in some places the paint is smashing, we didn't see any traces of policy, there was no overpressure in the outdoor fire extinguisher or there was a designated place, we even found 1 piece in 3 apartments, escape plan nowhere, mold stripe, limescale door it could not be closed, the owner's dogs walked in and out of the doors of the apartments, their feces uncollected, let's not talk about the structure of the pavilion, which is dangerous. The fact that we asked for our data on day 3 to log in is absurd. The "pet-friendly" accommodation only signals small neutered animals. I could list the signs of incompetence until sunny. These things are, in my opinion, unacceptable from an accommodation! But now comes the area. A wonderful cozy village of Tagyon and Szentantalfa with fantastic wines and winemakers. A real family community with a super producer market and local people. I can only recommend to everyone, in spite of our ordeals we left the settlement so that we would like to go back. But I don’t want to see the Country House and its operator in life anymore!

I do not praise, because I do not have to! For those of us who come here from our families for a long time, it gives us what is essential for our tense body and soul to come to a new life here. And the child has new friends, a cricket, a beetle, a bird chirping, a scolding that he doesn’t get in town.

When we arrived no one was at reception, no phone was picked up. We stood outside on the scorching day after several hours of traveling with our 6 month old baby. The cot was clean dirt, luckily we brought it with us. The dogs giving the accommodation were free, which would not be a problem if they collected their feces. We were there before then there was no problem with the accommodation, but the current operation is below criticism.

The location is perfect for a base after visiting the surrounding cellars, but it is also a suitable choice for the Balaton Tours of the Balatonfelvidék, with few detours from Szentantalva. Fabulous courtyard with Japanese garden and small fishpond, fireplace, pool. Classy and cozy apartment houses for four people are available. One thing overshadowed our experience, they said on the phone a different price than we ended up paying. Probably a misunderstanding, in any case it was very inconvenient for me as an organizer because I told the others a different price. Maybe I can only book through an accommodation agent to eliminate this. At least I recommend an email price quote to everyone, unfortunately I didn’t write down the number I heard on the phone before in the written booking, so I couldn’t even refer to anything.
