Definitely not a vegetarian hotspot, but the Sztrapacska can be made without meat, and there are a couple grilled or fried cheese options.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Absolutely terrible communication with the customer. At first the waiters seemed nice. Once we ordered and got our drinks we did not see the waiter once, not even after we have finished our drinks. We have waited solid 1 hour for the food without any information from the waiter until we pressed for the information and he said that the kitchen was busy. After we decided to leave we were told that one hour is minimum for every food. I emphasize that there is no information written anywhere nor said by the waiters as you come. We were also charged with an extra fee for service. Excuse me but what service???? I simply do not recommend to eat here. Stay away and find a better place.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I've been eating at this place for 10+ years, but it was my first time back since the pandemic. Still exactly how I remember it. Great Hungarian comfort food, welcoming and friendly bilingual staff, reasonable prices, great location. An old favorite!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very nice restaurant. The meals are delicious and feel like home. The people are very friendly and the terrace outside is very charming. Usually we walk around the restaurants to see what we like best but we walked straight inside. Plus the restaurant has a very nice view of the governmental building

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very cosy restaurant in the buda district, walking-distant from the fishermen’s bastion. Amazing goulash dish!!! The mushroom provided a very unique flavour and I liked the species in the dish so much. The pork dish was also nice and highly recommended.
The restaurant is also near the river, just walk a few minutes after dinner then you could enjoy the majestic view of parliament building in the evening (if you are a tourist like me)
