★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Not a lot going on at this place, perhaps it's the best as it is a castle with limited space, but if you wosh to se the view to the Danube from a medieval ruined castle and to the surrounding hills and woods it is a really nice place for a walk especially aound autumn time when the area is so colourful. For me it is a family memory where we return occasionallyto have a small healthy hike.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Castle ruin overlooking Visegrad town. It's a pretty area, the castle inside also has some historical stuff on display. Can be quite crowded. Entry is 1.800 HUF pretty adult. There's several parking spots on the way up and right next to it, though the latter is limited.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ History fan, so sorry, but I love castles and their history. And this one has so much of it. Used to be most important fort in Hungarian history at some moment, but the time got to it. They sure take a lot effort to restore it. From it u can also enjoy a beautiful view over Danube.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A good old fortress and an picturesque place on Danube surrounded by intact unspoiled nature. Unfortunately only can be reached by the car because public transport does not work. There aren't good museum or audio guide inside.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Amazing view! One of the moat beautiful places with a view on the river Danube. For your visit plan at least an hour to fully enjoy the castle and the view.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Free parking 25 minutes by foot from the castle. At the castle it's 2 euros and a bit for 2 hours. Not allowed to park somewhere else. The tickets are OK priced. The castle offers beautiful views over the Danube bend. Many materials inside in Hungarian. Nothing is interactive or animated. Some of the reconstruction is quite ugly.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Amazing panoramic views from the castle. There is an entrance fee of 1700Ft. It has an excellent view on the Danube bend. The castle has a few exhibits which are very interesting if you like history, but even if no, the view is worth it. 1/1.5h is enough to visit the place.
