★ ★ ★ ★ ★ From Hungary: you have to wait (many) hours to cross the border, but here the Hungarians work pretty fast. No free toilet (150 HUF), the customs officers often are not really polite (very informal). There are a lot of people, who buy stuff in Hungary, ask back the VAT and takes it to Ukraine for a living. These cars build up long lines often.
From Ukraine: the customs officers work very slowly on both sides. Seriously. There are too many people who try to smuggle cheap Ukrainian cigarettes and vodka to the EU, therefore the check is insnely slow. The problem is, that these smugglers won't give up, but normal tourists will.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The most horrible customs!!! Hungarian border guards work extremely slow, and generally make every effort to lose the desire to go to this country. 5 buses pass 9 hours. It's terrible!!!
We are losing hope of crossing the border this weekend at all. So far, this country does not deserve to spend money here !!!
awful! there are 14 hours of waiting ... 1 bus passed in 2 hours....

I will fly over this country every single time instead of crossing its ground borders. It makes me Nauseous when I remind of my experience with them .
