★ ★ ★ ★ ★ To start with the positives: the store is big with ample space to showcase lots of furniture. Besides that you will find all the household appliances, utensils, and decorative stuff you'll need. There are ample stuff around to help you out too. So this store has the potential to be great, but the checkout process is just ridiculous and ruins your whole experience. After you purchase your furniture, you need to wait for someone to get your stuff out from the warehouse. And this process takes forever. We were there on a slow evening when hardly anyone was shopping and still had to wait 25 minutes, and we bought one small cupboard... Compared to IKEA where you get your furniture yourself from the shelves you finish in 5 minutes.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Enquired about a lamp on display in the Budaors branch and after being told to come back to the sales assistants desk after she had checked stock, we were told the lampshade was missing and would be contacted if it was found / in stock - yet no further communication despite a week of waiting. Surely a phone call to confirm either way would have been courteous ?
We then saw another lamp in another store and was told it was out of stock - but in stock in the Budaors branch - a hour drive away. Why couldn’t staff arrange to have this transferred to our closest branch for collection, surely stock items can be sent between branches ?
After ordering online just to be sure it was still available, we then drove an hour back to Budaors - queued for 10 minutes at the till (despite it being already paid for) given sheets of paper to be stamped / signed and then kept waiting for a further 30 minutes while our item was retrieved from the warehouse.
Nice items but overall a frustrating shopping experience where customer service and processes leave a lot to be desired.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great selection of things, lots to choose from until you need to interact with staff. Then your challenges begin, as you will feel you are back in the socialist area, where everyone has time and they are not here for service. After you have selected your stuff to buy, the cashier experience is even worse, extremely slow, probably a snail would have bitten us to the door…
It would probably really help to take ideas from the competition on the other side of the highway and implement self service checkouts….

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very poor condition of the products. In the salon they look good, but believe me most of them are defective. In the last two months I order 3 different pieces of furniture. All of them appeared to be broken. This is just ridiculous. For instance, today delivery company brought to me broken komod. It is 70 kg and hard to bring back. From 10 o’clock I try to reach the company, but they even do not pick up the phone. Very disappointing…
My suggestion: if you want to buy there something, you should check condition of the product at Lutz and take it by yourself home. Otherwise you will overpay for delivery of broken goods.
