★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Olgamajor Batthyány Zsigmond részére épült 1933-ban. 1945 után államosították. 1948-ban a kastély alatt avatták fel dr. Kassai László mérnök tervei alapján az első falepárló üzemet, amely 1953-ig működött. A kastély ezután vadászati célokat szolgált. A környéken lőtt vadak trófeáival díszített kastély valamikor gróf Batthyány Zsigmond tulajdonában volt. 1970 szeptemberében itt lőtte Marion Schuster vadászvendég az akkori világrekord trófeát (12,45 kg, 251,83 CIC pont) viselő gímbikát. A kastélyt 2010-ben egy újabb épületrésszel egészítjük ki, így már 26 fő elszállásolására lesz alkalmas. Az L-alakú épületrész központi részében helyezkedik el a hangulatos étkező, melyet cserépkályha és gyönyörű trófeák tesznek még vonzóbbá. Innen nyílik a társalgó, valamint a lépcső, ami a két szárny emeletén elhelyezkedő saját fürdőszobás, kétszemélyes szobákhoz vezet. (A tulajdonos nem szereti, ha fényképezik a kastélyt, ez egy bennfentes vadászkastély, de néhány képre kaptam lehetőséget, nem a tulajdonostól, így beláthatunk a kulisszák mögé)
Olgamajor Batthyány was built for Zsigmond in 1933. It was nationalized after 1945. In 1948, dr. László Kassai engineer plans for the first wood distillery, which operated until 1953. The castle was then used for hunting purposes. The castle, once decorated with trophies of wild game, was once owned by Count Zsigmond Batthyány. In September 1970, Marion Schuster, a hunter guest, shot the giant bull carrying the world record trophy (12.45 kg, 251.83 CIC points). In 2010, the palace will be completed with a new building to accommodate 26 people. In the central part of the L-shaped building is the cozy dining room, which is made even more attractive by tile stoves and beautiful trophies. From here you will find the lounge and the stairs leading to the double rooms on the first floor of the two wings. (The owner doesn't like taking pictures of the castle, this is an insider hunting castle, but I did get a few pictures, not from the owner, so we can see behind the scenes)
