★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Somogy – legmagasabb pontját nézve – a Dunántúl legalacsonyabb megyéje. De ettől még sok szép dombja van ennek a hatalmas, ritkán lakott, s így gyakran üresnek látszó tájnak. A korábbi, Kereki várát bemutató barangoláshoz nagyon közel, onnan akár gyalog is megközelíthető távolságra találjuk meg a megye legmagasabb pontját, amit sokáig nem is jeleztek a térképek, és tévesen más dombot tartottak a legnagyobbnak. Aztán nagy nehezen egy éve méltóképpen megjelölték a 316 méteres Alman-tetőt.
 Somogy is the lowest county in Transdanubia in terms of its highest point. But this still has many beautiful hills in this vast, sparsely populated, and thus often seemingly empty landscape. Very close to the former roaming of Kereki Castle, we can find the highest point of the county at a distance, even on foot, which for a long time was not even indicated on the maps, and mistakenly considered another hill to be the largest. Then, with great difficulty, the 316-foot Alman roof was worthily marked a year ago.
