Castle of Kereki - Unnamed Road

The area around the castle ruins is beautifully maintained, and for a beautiful view, it’s worth climbing the not-too-long but slightly steep climb!

Easy access, beautiful panorama, quiet romantic atmosphere. Although it is now scaffolded, it is still captivating.

The wooden guard and the lookout tower were good. Due to the thinning of the trees, there is also a beautiful view of the valley bridge and Lake Balaton. The ascent requires good fitness from Kereki. I recommend it's worth going up!

As a child, when my foster father and I visited here several times, I remembered that it was a huge castle ruin in a beautiful forest. After that, I didn't even go here for a long time. But now I felt I had to. Well, we went as far as possible to the parking lot, it's windy but sunny in February, but maybe the ice is melting from the surface of the earth, it made the forest slope quite muddy and slippery. In the valley it is written that the castle is 500 meters away, but you can only get up at the cost of a lot of slipping and chattering. Sometimes my shoes got quite heavy, so much clay mud stuck to it. Despite the cold, the water tore from me, sweat flowed into my eyes. And we're up, uh. . . so how can I tell. . . therefore it is a disappointment. It could be a couple of ruined walls, even the ruins of an old industrial building, neither white nor large stones, small remains of brick walls. . they are also being renovated, as are almost all the castles in the country, scaffolding here and there, the most valuable experience is to feed through the fissures allowed by the tar trees all the way to Lake Balaton.
