★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Well, we paid instead of 1290 (as per menu) 1990 per each aperol. At the end, we were informed that there is no option to pay by card, so they recommended to use the nearest cash machine with additional charge of 1280 per transaction.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ No payment by card possible although maestro, visa, mastercard, ... signs were on the door. They had their own ATM which took a 15% FEE ?!!
ATM had a camera above the PIN keyboard. Felt scammy. Staff served in English, until I asked about the ATM, waiter acted as if he didn't understand us.
Very uneasy and scammy experience, not what you look for as a tourist.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We visited this restaurant with my friend. The staff didn't speak english very well but instead of hello or something the waiter shouted out "cash only". He was very rude and looked bothered by our visit. The restaurant was almost empty and we waited for 2 lemonades, 1 dessert for about 15 minutes. My friend ordered the most basic spaghetti and we waited for an hour only to find out that the waiter forgot about it. We asked repeatedly if the food is going to be ready because we wanted to leave. He didn't apologize and kept saying 10 minutes. We waited another 20 minutes and asked again. Another waiter resolved our problem and the food ended up being on the house. It was cold and with hair in it so my friend didn't even finish it. In the meantime the same waiter had a problem with another customers and it was resolved by shouting and him smacking tables. Overally very unprofessional and not very pleasant visit. Don't reccommend.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Stunning architecture, design, a historical place since 1720'! With MAGICAL panorama of the Danube and Parliament, a truly memorable experience! Inside decos superb with original photos of old Budapest, matched with stylish furniture, curtains, wall lamps... service is fantastic, food superb and an irresistible wine and sparkling wine selection! We attended an amazing live Latin music show by Laura Riz Quartett, with lasting memories!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ So yeah they have nice view, however charge more for drinks, play “nice” and squeeze cash from you, which can be withdrawn in atm. It has horrible exchange rate and commission.
