★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A szobor nagyon tetszik. Ez a durvább megmunkálás a témát nem torzítja, inkább harmóniát ad a kompozíciónak. A környéke viszont felháborítóan szemetes!
I really like the statue. This coarser machining does not distort the theme, but rather gives the composition harmony. But its surroundings are outrageous rubbish!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Az "Anya gyermekével" szobor Kerényi Jenő műve. 1980 június 12-én avatták fel, amikor egyben a Petőfi-hidat felújítás után átadták.
Kerényi életművében harmincnál is több anya-gyermek tematikájú alkotás szerepel.
A szobor eredetileg 1971-ben Moszkvába került a magyar nagykövetségre. A szobor másodpéldányát helyezték el '80-ban itt, a téren.
The sculpture "Mother with Child" is the work of Jenő Kerényi. It was inaugurated on June 12, 1980, when the Petőfi Bridge was handed over after renovation.
Kerényi's oeuvre includes more than thirty mother-child-themed works.
The statue was originally sent to the Hungarian embassy in Moscow in 1971. A duplicate of the statue was placed in ’80 here in the square.
