When the bill came, the owner started to force us to pay him very quickly, not letting us see the bill either, but he wanted a tip, even though there was a service included in the bill. He curses us in Hungarian. I have never seen such humiliation anywhere in the world, although we travel constantly. When I came back because I had forgotten my jacket, I secretly tipped the waiter without the owner seeing. It was clear that he wanted to rob everyone of the staff. I'm sorry that wonderful young man works there. I do not recommend. Overpriced dishes, lies in the bills and a brazen manager.

E	E_Lena on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I recommend to visit this retaurant moustly for its atmosphere - their interior (or more precisely its ceiling) is a beautiful example of architectural creativity! Long time ago the restaurant was located in a different building with beautiful gothic ceiling which became Apostolok's trade mark. One day, they building was destroyed, yet the restaurant owners had managed to save the ceiling by cutting it out of the old building and placing it under the roof of their new one - as a decoration It does look impressive! The restaurant is concidered as expensive for Budapest (and so it is if you start comparing their prices with many other restaurants in the city cenre) but not dramatically expensive

Meal was warm and not hot and since it came out so quickly it must have been prepared already. The food was not very nice. The previous night I had been to a fantastic restaurant in another part of Budapest so this place was a massive left down. Whilst I was still eating they came and slammed the bill down on my table and obviously wanted me to piss off elsewhere as soon as possible. Avoid this place and go elsewhere. Terrible service not like the rest of Budapest.

Then l discovered that two resturants share the same address. Therefore i asked if i could take a few pictures of the food and decor; so if you are reviewing this resturant please make aure you have the right one. The food was outstanding the staff polite and helpful. Please take time out to visit this resturant when in Budapest, and leave the correct review at the correct resturant.
