Unlike other reviews the bedside manners of the doctors are fine. However the reception is beyond inefficient you have to wait close to half an hour for the paperwork.

I wish I could give no stars at all. Rude staff, horrifying prices. Went in after falling with bike, suspecting that I broke my hand. They talked to me arrogantly and belittling already at the reception, though I have an insurance. Rather came out, I'll go anywhere else with my probably broken hand, but here. Stay away from this place.

As a foreigner, I'm always worried about communication but here, at least at the reception, always there is at least one receptionist that can speak a basic and sufficient English. When not, they call Ms Ana, a so kind and professional woman that can help us there. The doctors can speak English very well but, unfortunately, it is not true for the nurses. My only recommendation is that for foreigners, only nurses that can speak a second language should take care of those. It is too frustrating can't understand things that they try talk to us.

So many negatives comment. I went yesterday was all good. Yes, the reception doesn’t speak English or German, and as Budapest is one top tourist destination, they should have someone speaking the foregone language.

I got referred there by another clinic. Knowing that I can’t speak Hungarian, they manage to get reception, nurse and doctor who can speak English to help me. Hence, there isn’t language barrier as the nurse and doctor speak perfect English. The receptionist speaks sufficient English to help me to register using simple English words like “passport”, “address” etc

I wish I could give no stars at all... Rude, mean and arrogant staff, dodgy pricing system and unprofessional doctors - for ridiculously high prices... The 3 "lady" at the reception should be fired for the way they talked, and for the attitude they gave to not just me, but to the other patients too,, doctor rushed the whole examination- which in general should have been taken 10-15 minutes- he did the entire consultation AND examination in 5... And not to mention the prices which are totally different from what they present on their website... Stay away from this place- especially if you are a foreigner!

The conduct within the whole institution was unprofessional, especially for the price you pay and the scarce- or misinformation they provide you with (regarding prices, medical procedures, the compulsory covid test before surgery, and even their options of paying methods.) The health care I received was also highly problematic. Upon examining and operating on me, my doctor, MD Hábel Tamás Miklós was highly unprofessional, ignorant, arrogant, and sexist. He continuously disregarded my remarks of physical pain during the surgery and afterward. Throughout the examination, he implied that the problem could only be related to my pain tolerance clearly insinuating that I am overly sensitive. During the surgery, the most painful thing, however, was not someone cutting open my wrist, it was rather the doctor's demeanor. He was unprofessional throughout. Instead of talking me through what was happening, he was almost exclusively talking to the OR nurse, blatantly flirting with her (as in e. g. inviting her on a vacation, talking about why the nurse was single, and thus "was in need to be wooed" by him). He went on to declare that "women should not say no, or else they will be left alone, i. e. without a man." Encountering this level of unprofessionalism and heterosexism, being a young liberal woman, as one can imagine, I was ???????? frustrated and, at this point, almost glad I had been tied to the bed. Even though my split open wrist would have been enough to ponder on, I also became somewhat worried that even my usually low blood pressure would spike and result in serious complications. I could add several more details here, but the major takeaway is, that the whole experience was infuriating and traumatic, especially for the high prices ( & can we all please appreciate the irony here that the doctor was a traumatologist as well). Anyhow, please do yourself a favor and avoid both MD Hábel Tamás Miklós and the clinic, if you can. * Because of character number, I had to post the English version of my comment from a separate account. Being not even able to secure an appointment. I agreed on a date with the lady on the phone. Upon arriving they said I was in their calendar for the follwing week. They do not even send confirmation of appointment in text message or in e-mail, yet they ask for these contact details...
