★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Really crowded, which means popular but it was impossible to have a normal conversation. Everyone was shouting to be heard, and then the background music, nice enough but inaudible with all the noisy surroundings.
The “Duck breast, past rolls stuffed with duck leg, Jerusalem artichoke and figs, pomegranate seeds “ was Ok, not as soft as I expected and the rolls were something near to imposible to chew.
The dessert, on the other hand, was terrific: warm sponge pudding ! Amazingly crispy outside and deliciously soft inside…

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Stumbled upon this place via Google maps whilst looking for somewhere nice to eat on a Saturday. They were busy but to our surprise they went out of their way to make sure we were seated.
The ambiance was amazing, with live music on a traditional Hungarian instrument, the staff were all incredibly polite and helpful, and the food was absolutely delicious. All for an unbelievably reasonable price.
I will be recommending this place to anyone visiting Budapest and look forward to coming again!

Live music, nice decor and a professional staff. Food was average/good and wine was amazing (good recommendations by waiters).
After dinner I got a forum on which I could fill in my experience per category (staff, experience, food, location/decor etc).
After filled in the food was average, a waiter came to me to ask what was wrong and asked for some clarification. I told them my recommendations (more differentiation in the dish) they felt sorry and offered a way too generous offer(free meal). After rejecting the offer, they gave a nice glass of dessert wine to apologize.
I've never ever had this experience in my life, but the way the staff listened to the recommendations were really professional. Definitely will come back in the near future.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ One of the finest dining experiences. The food is top class, the presentation, the service, the live music, and the interior decor just makes the dinning an experience in itself. The food is beyond amazing and the owner (Mr. Thomas) goes out of his way to make you feel comfortable. If you’re in Budapest and want to explore local cuisine, this is the place!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We liked it. Nice atmosphere with a musician, who’s familiar with different national songs of different countries - nice and smart approach to clients!
Regarding the food, food was nice, I loved the duck pate/parfe! So tender and melts in the mouth. Deer gulags for me tastes like a usual gulash, another person got the duck and didn’t really say it was something special … nice wines and good desert.
Regarding the service, waiters were very friendly and patient , asked me in a form of survey when we were leaving what we didn’t like and presented us two glasses of amazing wine.
Had good time there but nothing very special for me. Anyways, nice place to visit

- The atmosphere is lovely, there is live music ? which I really enjoyed. Just light is a bit too dark for me?
- The food is fine, they really tried to make something different or in their own way. However, I was not much fan of desserts ?( Peach with berry sorbet and basil, basil was too strong…)
