★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Good budget large supermarket with huge selection. They offer all kinds of food products, fresh vegetables, meat, dairy, also some clothes, cosmetics and electronics.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A bit too far out of town, but popular with the locals nevertheless. In the same building there is a MediaMarkt and some good dining oppotunities as well (nothing too fancy though). Can become crowded.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Auchan Hyperstore in Kecskemet is possibly "The" largest store in the city. The selection of things you can buy there is astounding. From garden supplies to kitchen appliances and electronics, it's all there. Their selection of food and food related products is equally huge.
Parking is easy on their mega parking lot. On the inside the aisles are wide enough so that even when there are a lot of people, it doesn't seem crowded. They also have a large selection of organic produce right from the local farms. Auchan is my favorite store in Kecskemet. American superstores like Publix and Walmart have nothing on Auchen :-)
