★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We had a Clio for 5 days picking up at Budapest and driving around the country. On time pick-up, thorough explanation on the insurance, and answer all our questions. Almost new car and very clean. We bought the full insurance and had no issues. Recommended.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I went on trip to Hungary, Austria and Romania with my family of 5 and decided to rent a car from Autonom at their location in Budapest. They provided me with a Dacia Lodgy which was roomy enough for 5 people and 10 pieces of luggage. We drove for over 1700 miles across 3 countries without a hitch, the car performed flawlessly and was easy to handle. The service I received from Autonom-Budapest was excellent and the price they offered would have been hard to beat. I highly recommend them!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great experience using Autonom from Budapest. They dropped the car off at my apartment for free. The delivery was prompt at 8am sharp. They were great at communicating via email. The car was almost brand new and very clean inside drove well no issues. We scheduled a drop off at 3am by the airport outside of the companies business hours yet they still arranged a cab to be waiting for us at 3am after we put the keys in the drop box the cab took us to the airport. It was a great experience and would defiantly use Autonom again. Thanks so much!

The service and the price was absolutely great.
No problems with the car it worked smoothly.
Miklos and his team are very helpful professional and kind!
I highly recommend this company.
Note that once you arrive to Budapest you need to call the office in order for them to come pick you up.
Next time in Budapest i would definitely come back.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Highly recommended! Rent with confidence! This is my third time I’ve rented from Autonom! They pick you up at the airport -someone waiting for you with sign, up on arrival- and the office literally just minutes away from the terminal. Easy. After the usual few minutes paperwork you good to go! I’m renting often within the US and EU as well many other locations. Autonom Budapest good as any other world class car rental place! I will use this guys again if I’m in Budapest! Thx Miklos!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Miklos and his team are amazing! They really helped us when we needed a car after we moved to Hungary until we can buy a car. We rented a car from them for 2 months and the service is 100% professional and top notch. Their rates were competitive and they were very flexible with all the last minute changes and extension that we had to make, they even managed to deliver the car to our house. Communication was easy and verything was flawless and very convenient. I would highly recommend Autonom to anyone looking for a car rental in Budapest.

Firstly they wont come to pick you up from the airport as stated when you book unless you call them which is fine but at least they should have said it when you book and not letting you wait at the airport till you realize yourself you should call.
Also, BE AWARE!!! if you rent a car from Autonom you should either purchase your own excess insurance or take one from them (which is more expensive) as they will look at the car with magnifying glass to find the smallest scratch then will charge you a well over-priced charge which you signed on it!!
So make you decision carefully!
