A hídlábaknál a biciklit alig lehet fel- vagy letolni, nincs normális rámpa. Ronda is. A kilátás persze szép róla. Riding a bike is a nightmare. J	Julianna Széll on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Szeged Bertalan Híd az 1975 után épült,1978 - ban készült el.Ezt megelőzően az Újszegedi oldalon állt a Bertalan szobor,ezt eltávolították a híd építése miatt.Építész emlékére alkották a szobrot,majd az azt követő híd nevét is róla nevezték el.Szobor azért emlékezetes mert a Rózsa F szakközépiskolába jártam és minden testnevelési óra azzal kezdődött,hogy a szoborig és vissza futással kezdődött.Amikor a hídat építeni kezdték a futás iránya is megváltozott.Azokban az években nagyon nőtt a közlekedési forgalom,átmenő forgalom Szegeden is.A 43- as Főúton rentgeteg kamion,nehézgépkocsi közlekedett és a személygépkocsik száma is rohamosan növekedett,tehát nagy szükség lett még egy Tisza Hídra.Az M43- as megépítésével a kamionokat kitiltották a városból.A személygépkocsik száma és az idegenforgalom folyamatosan növekszik ezért elkelne még egy híd Szegeden.Kerékpárral és gyalog is lehet közlekedni.Távolsági buszok,helyközi járatok csak a Bertalan hídon közlekednek. Viszont a közlekedés gyalogosan elég kényelmetlen rajta. Magán a hídon rengeteg gyalogos hely van, el lehet férni akkor is, ha mindkét irányból jönnek. Viszont a híd két végén összeszűkül a járda, és a méterenként elhelyezett villanyoszlopok is kiszabdalják a helyet. Itt még a járda mellett közvetlenül közlekednek az autók is, így elég kényelmetlen. Másrészt már kellene a felvezető járdákra egy alapos felújítás, mivel sok helyen már hullámzik, a villanyoszlopok mentén, pedig fel is csúcsosodnak.
