No staff to ask and inform people about processes. Waiting unnecessiarly 4 hours to arrange papers what they could not do at the end. The style of the staff is atrocious and not helpful at all. For arranged appointment they are not prepared with the required documents and misleading people.

Worst. Misleading information, staff doesn't help neither on phone nor in person. If you send them a letter they decline ever getting it even if it was signed, then just after 2 hours of arguing will they check it and correct their mistakes, even if they are at fault they don't say sorry just threatening to throw you out. Waiting time is several hours always, no matter what. They also forgot to post the address card out for a year. They truly act like they hate foreigners.

Advice for everyone: Like the other immigration offices, the wait is usually hours long, tickets are called seemingly at random, but when your turn comes you’ll find the staff friendly and genuinely eager to get you what you need. Take *every* document you might think you’ll need - AND TAKE PHOTOCOPIES, it will speed up the process and put you in the good books of the staff. Clear your schedule and take some entertainment (and food!). When it comes to planning your arrival it’s best to arrive about 1 hour before the stated opening time, as you’ll still be able to get a ticket. Still, depending on what you’re going there for, it might still take hours for your ticket to get called - you’ve just got to roll with it!

Yes, it took so long, about 4 hours, but the man was very kind and very helpful. I even didn't have all of the papers printed (I had them on my phone) and he allowed me to send them via an e-mail. Everything okay, only be patient!

The worst place you can be, people are racists and really slow, security guard thinks he is a god, without knowing English, make u wait outside in the cold for hours, and if you go out to take cash, because they don’t take card payments, they will make stand in the line for hours again, worst service, as the people here.

I was there as part of the Brexit Withdrawal Agreement. When you look at Streetview, this office is where the red van is. The sign is obscured by the trees in the pictures. The actual office is inside on the right. The wait is long as maybe only 4 positions of 8 are being used. Could take 2-3 hours easily. There's an onsite photocopier charging 20Ft an A4 sheet. There's a big electronic TV sign showing ticket numbers but they seem to be random and the clock is wrong. There's a couple of snack and drink machines and some toilets (with soap and paper towels - amazing for a HU public offices). The guard is a bit officious if you are not speaking Hungarian, otherwise he's quite friendly. As other posters say, take everything with you with spare copies - and I mean everything you've got. They copy everything - like all pages of your passport, certificates, address cards and so on. This is despite using and uploading all documents to Enter Hungary. They don't seem to use those. If you were registered before, be aware, they don't seem to have the capability to use the documents that they've seen already. They do it all as though it was a new application. Everything seems manual and paper driven. I cannot say they are unfriendly but they did spend an intense amount of time verifying my identity and paid no attention to anything that went before. The agent (she was a policewoman) said it was to make sure there were no mistakes and the application could be rejected for minor reasons. I'm afraid it's gritting your teeth and smiling to get past it. Good luck.
