About what you'd expect from a government office anywhere....but they have a mask policy (weird as restrictions were lifted by the govt awhile ago) yet no staff in the building wore a mask?

I waited a lot, but it’s because there were a lot of people, overall service is so efficient, and also very helpful

It would be a perfect place to come if you would want to waste meaningless hours of your life. It doesn't matter if had booked an appointment because you would need to wait for hours anyways.

I’ve been twice here, before and after new year and both times I’ve met the warmest greeting and amazing care from all the employees starting from the entrance . Thank you for making the process so quick and smooth.

The young man my appointment was with was very friendly and helpful. His English proficiency was excellent and could even speak Japanese, too. The entrance is on the other side of the building, follow the signs that say immigration office. The building is well lit, clean and warm in winter. Right now (Jan, 2021), you can only go if you have an appointment that you can easily make online and you must wear a mask at all times. There will still be a wait of around an hour depending on the complexity of cases on the day. You must have a passport to be seen. You can download the necessary forms from the website which is useful for knowing which documents to bring and any fees. Inside the waiting area is a photocopier that only takes coins (1 b&w side is 20 HUF), a photo booth (4 passport images are 7 euros), lots of spaced seating, a coffee machine, drinks vending machine and a snack vending machine.

I have booked a time 3 weeks ago and i still have to wait for hours. Dont go there. The people that work there is very rude and amateurs. I hate this place. I give them 0 stars. Handicap place. I hope they lose their job and go in hell.

I looked at the bad reviews about the centre and do understand peoples frustration regarding waiting times. However, each persons time spent with a member of staff to submit an application properly does take some time (mine was 45 mins). ALL the staff were extremely helpful and courteous, from the greeting at the counter to get you ticket/number for your place in the queue, right through to the four separate people that were need to help with my complex family application. I suspect the wait time of 2 hours+ has people in a bad mood before they see a member of staff, Ben E setti b the wrong ‘tone’. Wait patiently and you will be assisted very effectively and in a helpful manner.

Average waiting time is 1hour. Office hour until 14:00. You can make appointment online and even apply online, but you would still need to come to give fingerprints and photo. The staff is polite.
