Yummy food and super friendly English speaking staff. You can pay by cash or card. Food arrived pretty fast. Single comment is that it's slightly expensive (one large ramen soup with noodles and seafood was 4000ft) but it was very big. For some of their soups you can choose half-portion as well. I definitely recommend for a tasty ramen!

It's kind of hidden away underground, but it's definitely worth a visit! The owner is a very friendly Japanese expat, and the food here is very good and gives off a home-cooked feel. The prices were fair and my favorites were the croquette and the lotus root. If you're craving Japanese food, make sure to visit Biwako!

Really yummy, freshly made! I don’t know what the bad reviews are about… maybe they never had authentic japanese food before, but 10/10 for Japanese in Budapest.

It’s not tasty - ramen dish in this place is hard noodles, soy broth, a lot of ginger, wood, and hard pork.

One star is very too much. I give minus five stars. The local was terrible!!!! Dirty bathrooms, no soap, very sleazy and shabby local. Food was the same bad! Owful meat, wegetarian ramen tasted like water mixed with flour and some artificial spices. Even it shoudnt be named as ramen, rather pour soup with raw potatoes and defrosted carrots. I didnt eat that at all, wasted food, money and time. Seafood salad was just raw wakame with some salt, no taste at all, and added cabbage?? Who could see that. I wanted to go out of there the quickest i could. Wasted time and money. Im disgusted. The waitress didnt know the menu at all

Absolutely terrible experience. Extremely overpriced for mediocre food and terrible service. We ordered two ramen bowls and an onigiri. They delivered one ramen and one onigiri. We assumed the other ramen was coming but 15 minutes later we flagged down the waitress and asked if our other ramen was coming. She quickly stated that she didn't hear us ask for two and that she'd add it to our order. This wouldn't have been that much of an issue, but apparently she just added another ramen to our order and didn't bother to tell anyone before leaving. Thirty minutes later I had to get up, walk to the front to ask where our food was. The owner was the only one there and didn't speak much English. We were already fed up so we didn't take him up on his offer to start the second ramen (it was close to closing by then and they had already started cleaning the kitchen). The ramen we did get was bland and mediocre. The onigiri barely had any filling. Everything was at least double what it should reasonably cost. The bathrooms were disgusting. Paint was chipping, toilets were crusty, no soap in the dispenser, no toilet paper. One bathroom stall had a burnt out light. The owner was apologetic, but what he really needs to do is fire his waitress. It's clear from other reviews that the service has been terrible for a long time. It's also clear that they pay for reviews. Don't trust any 5 star reviews, no person who actually ate here would give it over 3 even if the service wasn't abysmal.

This place deserves more customers. The restaurant is in the basement but it is clean and well run and organised. Tho I'm not a Miso soup ramen kind of girl but I would say the ramen is authentic, seasoning and flavour are solid. If you love Miso soup ramen, here is your place. They offer 2 types of soup; Soya sauce (shoyu) soup and Miso Soup. (No Shio or Tonkotsu soup) their side dish is lovely lotus roots (Renkon ) in spicy little sauce is nice and the Konbu-no nimono meets my simple standard. I recommend for authenticity of Japanese food. Downside is the hot green tea is a bit diluted and should put in more matcha powder but I know profit need to be made and it is pleasant and can be easily ignored. Clean and spacious toilet room.
