★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Wonderful wines with a litte bit of “csarda” style restaurant. There are also recommendations for wine pairing. The hotel per se a “straightforward”, it reminds me a typical east german style, not in age (everything seemed relatively new) but in style. It gave an authentic touch for the hotel knowing this is originally a german family owned / run vineyard.
Every guests have the opportunity to visit the production site in an organized tour. There is a unique dome below ground with a very special acoustic. The production site use renewable energy also, which shows the innovativity of the vineyard.
Tha spa relatively a small addition (2 pools and 3 small sauna -infra; steam; dry). I was told they plan to make it bigger.
The staff was very helpful and made sure we have outstanding experience during our stay.
Knowing that the area is a famous wine region in Hungary, the one can visit other vineyards as well.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The restaurant very cold and not well designed. More like 80s but not the good way. Food, although nicely presented on the plate, didn't taste great. The fish was smelling not fresh and although I ordered fillet, there were many bones to fight with :-) overall nothing special.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is supposed to be a four star hotel, but the spa was mediocre. You had to walk through the restaurant both to get to the Reception and the spa. Reception staff were unprofessional on the border of rude, and the restaurant food nothing to write home about. The breakfast was quite good, but certainly not four star standard. The hotel grounds consist of parking lots and a strange little garden/playground area. Overall, a disappointing experience.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The Bock Hotel and the Bock Winery is a fantastic attraction, especially for tourists who do not know that Hungary produces great wines! Its a lovely small hotel with a very good restaurant. The Winery is truly amazing and the visit is really interesting.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is a very friendly hotel, perfect for a long weekend. We stayed in their guest house down the road, because they ran out of hotel rooms by the time I made the booking. But it was equally perfect and we had the whole house for just the family.
Naturally, the main attraction in the hotel is the wine. You can book a wine tasting in the restaurant (highly recommended) and you can visit the cellars as well. The restaurant's menu contains delicious dishes, I had the pleasure to try a few of them. Their chocolate cake is amazing, a must try.
There's also wellness and you can book a massage, which is professional and relaxing.
The staff were always smiling and helpful in all of our requests.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My better half and I had a wonderful meal here. Food was excellent and, of course, one has to enjoy at least a couple of wines from the winery. Friendly staff and good service.
Warning: bring mosquito repellent if you wish to enjoy your meal on the terrace (or do what we did and sit inside).
