★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Hands down best food we ate in Hungary. Food was exquisite and delicious! We came here from Pécs on friend's recommendation, and it is totally a must see(and taste) if you are nearby. The dishes are of generous size, perfectly spiced and tender. Dessert was bliss. This being in famous vine region it's no surprise that they serve exquisite vine. Staff is very friendly, and speaks English and German. Dog friendly place - we were allowed inside with our labrador and the waiter brought water for him. The prices are affordable, too. The place has nice rustic look, it's very pleasant to the eye. Heartfully recommended!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I guess we should have chosen traditional Hungarian dishes because everyone praises those here. I picked the "Fülemüle" salad. It was okay, but the bacon was way too salty. My boyfriend chose tagliatelle with chicken and tomato. I can tell that was the worst tomato sauce I've ever tasted.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I loved the atmosphere, the service and the food was great. Try the traditional Hungarian dishes, I can recommend the soups, the duck and the apple pie. Big portions, fair pricing. Huge variety of palinkas and the “vadmálna párlat” is a great choice as an aperitif.

Bad thing - menu is only in hungarian (and some german) so it was pretty difficult to choose what to eat - we had to google each dish. What’s more, nobady speaks English in the restaurant. :)
