★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 1945 március 4-én bombatámadás érte Szombathelyt. Ekkor a Püspöki palota északi szárnyának egy része is megrongálódott. 2016-ban sikerült újjáépíteni, és itt nyitott meg a látogatói központ. Ennek oldalfalán látható Brenner János dombormű, melyet Dr. Veres András győri megyéspüspök szentelt meg 2017 május 15.-én. A műalkotást Veres Gábor szobrászművésznek köszönhetjük. A vértanúsorsú pap nevét, egyházmegyei fenntartásban működő iskola is viseli.
 On March 4, 1945, Szombathely was bombed. At that time, part of the northern wing of the Episcopal Palace was also damaged. It was successfully rebuilt in 2016 and the visitor center opened here. On the side wall there is a relief by János Brenner, consecrated by Dr. András Veres, Bishop of Győr, on May 15, 2017. The work of art is due to sculptor Gábor Veres. The name of the martyred priest is also borne by the school maintained by the diocese.
