The location is very central, close to the tram station. The lady who takes care of the place is very nice and the rooms are very clean.

I was very excited to go to Budapest but due to medical issues from a family member I had to cancel my stay. I knew there was a fee so I tried to waive it first thorugh Booking. They said it was not possible and I understood, but then I tried to explain my delicate situation to make sure they understood my reasoning. They wouldn't answer. It is not the fact that I have lost my fee. I dont't care because I had to cancel anyway (although I consider that in August they would fill up the room very quickly). It is the fact I did not get an answer from their side after I explained my situation. The additional fact that when I tried to waive the fee thorugh Booking I got a prompt and fast answer, but none when I explained my delicate situation. The hotel may be good, I don't know I haven't stayed there. It is important to know that the rating goes to the management board pf the hotel, and the treatment I received even without the need to go there. This is a very important part of any hotel that is why I am posting it publicly. If people like this are running this Hotel, I would not recomend anyone to stay there, not even for one night. I think this information may be useful for other people to decide where to stay.

The location is great, walking distance to the city center, tram station and grocery store just outside. It is a low-budget hotel without AC or fancy stuff and the rooms are a bit worn, but there is nothing to complain about for this price (40 €/night). Quite a lot of noise from the street outside if windows are open. There is a small kitchen in the corridor

Do not stay here if you want a nice stay. Very old, run down building with grafitti everywher inside, room was filthy, hair all over the bed as if a dog had been on it and stinks of damp, bathroom was tiny, door didn't shut or lock, we were left waiting outside for over an hour with no instructions on how to get in and just told to ring the bell which we did many many times and no one arrived. Didn't even stay in this property a night and quickly found elsewhere to stay. I'm not the slimmest girl but I sat on the bed and it collapsed! Trust me, this is cheap but honestly not worth the money. Avoid!
