Ez a park a II. világháború repülős áldozatairól megemlékezni kívánók zarándokhelye. 1944. június 16-án több mint 800 amerikai bombázó és vadászrepülő indult bombázni hazánk hadiipari célpontjait. Veszprémből 28 „Puma” szállt fel védeni a honi légtért. Öt pilóta halt meg aznap, köztük Pászty István, akinek gépe itt a park területén zuhant le. Tisztelet a hősöknek!
There is a beautiful park, the Heroes' Park, where a side road branches off from the main road towards the Amália steppe. Not only are the heroes of the village remembered here every year. This park is located in the II. a place of pilgrimage for those wishing to commemorate the flying victims of World War II. On June 16, 1944, more than 800 American bombers and fighter jets set out to bomb Hungary's military industrial targets. 28 “Puma” took off from Veszprém to protect the domestic airspace. Five pilots died that day, including István Pászty, whose plane crashed here in the park. Respect for the heroes!
