Club Tihany - Club Tihany

Absolutely fantastic dinners, superb Hungarian style meals, great choice. We were here for the fifth time. Pleasant large rooms, if you book the superior class with lake view, balcony (on which smoking is not allowed) and air condition in the main hotel building. Well kept grass beach, clear water, 1.20 m deep immediately after you enter. Occassionally you can see the grass snake in it. The beach bar offers good meals, however, it closes at 6 PM. Plenty of sport facilities. This year the open air restaurant outside the building was closed, we loved to sit there for a drink in previous years. The Butterfly disco bar, although well furnished, lacks any style, and is usually empty. This year no option where to sit outdoors to have a drink or smoke after dinner, very sad, you have to go outside the club and go to Tihany town. On the way there, the Adler restaurant was nice, you can sit outside. Taken together, five stars (because of the food and beach). But the lack of outdoor restaurant in the evening is a missed chance to be a truly superior resort.

The hotel with 4 stars, dissapointing. Room and bathroom dated, not renovated for 30 yrs or so and even not cleaned properly. During our 4 nights stay, no cleaning or towels changed at all. Spiders, spidernet, dirty, smelly carpet, old furniture and TV, almost no plugs at accessible place, low water pressure in the bathroom/ toilet. Wifi is poor. Awfull. Wondering how it could keep its 4 ⭐️ at all. Location is great, though. Beach and sorrunding green area is excellent. Meals - in the very crowded restaurant- up to 600 people( !) entering for breakfast and dinner within 1-2 hours at covid19 time - were delicious, though. Bungalows around look nice, but doubtfull about its quality after this experience.....Once it will be refurbished, sure it will reach a top rated place with a high priced location.

It is a good place for families. Good conditions of living. Air conditioning in every room, cleaning services on high level and cooking services as well-they were very helpful.

It was my 1st time to visit Club Tihany Bungalows. Location is really good, staff is nice, breakfast is tasty. The only thing I am not happy with that the bungalow did not seem perfectly cleaned which is really important specially during the covid. Also cobwebs must be removed. Anyway I am giving 5 * will be going back deffo

The hotel location is great, the garden is very, spacious, it has an own beach with sunbeds. There are kid club, playground, football, basketball court and outside kid's pool with slide. Inner wellness is great, not crowded. Our room was spacious with lake view balcony, it was very clean and nice room. Breakfast and dinner was excellent, wide selection of food, the bar next to reception was also great, not busy with reasonable prices and nice bartenders. Only bad point is the not really experinced staff in the restaurant, but it comes maybe from the seasonality of the hotel. Overall we had a great stay.

We only stayed for 1 night but will definitely be back for a vacation. It has everything you need for you and your children. Activities, swimming pool...

The spa went out of order, the waitress broke all plates during our dinner and water drops front the roof when it is raining. Money from noisy late night events are more favoured than piece for family.

I'm enjoying the half board buffet style breakfast and dinner, the e bike hire, the lake, the ferry and the on site paddle boarding. The resort has a swimming pool with hot tubs, offers very good massage and has a range of beauty therapies on offer. The scenery is out of this world and the little town of Tihany is picturesque.
