★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Pricey place due to the location. A tea is 1040 HUF which is around 4 euro. Cakes are nice and cheaper than a tea. I gave 3 star because their gluten-free cake.

Friendly service, order taken quickly although no menu provided, we ordered based on what we had seen in the window before walking in. served in decent time, although place was quite full, sandwiches tasted good. Mandatory 15% service charge which is definitely on the higher side.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ One the few places opened on Christmas day. The waiter was nice and the cakes and cappuccino were good too. I'd recommend if you wish for a short break between the castle and the church.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Terrible waiters, we were ignored several times and when they finally speak to you they look at you up and down in disdain. Below Average coffee and WAY too much whip. The waiter with the eyebrow piercing and “top knot” is probably to worst human being I’ve ever met in a customer service environment. He might as well spit in your face when he speaks to you ( that’s how it feels anyway).
This place clearly does not like tourists which is ironic since this place is located in one of the most touristic places in Budapest.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Busy little place! Staff run off their feet especially one lady!! Had the Gulash (obvs) which was excellent Meat was a little fatty but otherwise super good!! Was a bit confused as to why I got a wine glass and a balsamic vinegar bottle with a 7up but whatever!!
