★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is not the statue of an specific hussar. This is to honor any Hungarian hussar. Generally speaking, hussars were an important role in warfare between the XIV and XIX centuries. I am referring only to Europe. Their most important task was to attack once the main shield of the enemy was broken. In Hungarian history, the most important hussars were those under the command of King Mátyás in the XV century.
