★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Worst customer treatment ever! I was with a group of 8 people and we got some beverages and snacks to go. The waitresses were very rude and seemed annoyed of our presence there. They stared at us and replied very rudely to our questions, making also out loud comments in Hungarian. I've never seen such impolite customer service!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A favorite stop on my visits to the Buda side of the Danube. It's a place where time stands still. Great pastries, goulash and drinks. Very friendly and sincere hosts! Always quiet and lovely square for reading, conversing or thinking.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We were passing through this area during a hot day and was thirsty for something cold (i.e. ice cream). We asked for 2 scoops with a mini cup. The mini cup was the size of a palm of the hand (as seen in the pic). The 2 scoops (considered each scoop is a FULL Scoop) that stacked on top of each other should be higher than the level of the cup. Instead, we got a half scoop at the bottom and 1/3 scoop on top (as can be seen in the pic).
We did asked the staff (short blonde lady in black singlet) for FULL Scoop. But, she ignored us and gave us a dirty look. The entire service was rude and she refused to gave us the receipt.
Well, it was pity that in such a nice and beautiful country, you have a cafe which expert in giving you downsize ice cream for a full price!! You deserve better services and quality of the food from elsewhere. Thank you and good luck to your delicious downsize ice cream!!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great coffee and cake place! They also have takeaway option... The personnel at the counter were quick in service and friendly to talk to... I also took some route advices and they were more than helpful. Good place to take a coffee before ascending towards the Fisherman Bastion ;)
