★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Pretty basic bar/cafe but the local beer selection is very large, the toasted sandwiches with Hungarian meats and paprika are nice bar snacks, and the wine was tasty and reasonably priced. Good for the start of an evening out.

The restaurant itself is very cozy.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My first time in Budapest and my first meal before heading up to Fishman’s Bastion. Both exceptional dishes. The goulash soup had a smokey rich broth balanced with a lovely level of spice. I can see this as being the perfect winter dish. The lecso was amazing, and the taste of the sausage was to die for. This is an excellent spot to have lunch before heading up the hill to Fishman’s Bastion and Budapest Castle, strongly recommend.
