★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Warning: The waiter proposed us "the dish of the day" (it wasn't mentioned in the menu). Ot the bill we fount out that the dish was 2 times as expensive as the most expensive one for the menu.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Chairs and tables are not comfortable, waitress asked for 2 minutes to wait but went smoking, Expensive compared to the service you get... Undemanding serving... I was really disappointed.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The 1Star is for the location. The service is poor, the prices are high and you change waiter 3 time during your meal and all of them rolling the eyes if you will split the bill. But they sit playing there mobiles, eating chicken legs and smoke. The neighbor table got a juice shower and left angry. There are better places in Tihany avoid this one.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Ordered the food and waited, waited and waited. An hour later we asked and the rude waiters reply to my 4 year old is hungry Was, "yeah, so am I!"... and left. All around us the other tables were also complaining... the food at other tables was coming very slowly, one would get their plate while everyone else watched waiting. The table next to us the dad got his plate, the kids watched in anticipation, half an hour later they left because they had been there an hour as well and not received the food.
We asked for the bill for the drinks that came all wrong and they charged us things we didn't ask for. When we me tioned that, they were very rude and threw change at us. After seeing that many other tables cleared out.
If we can put warning signs to others I would and if I can give negative reviews, I would too.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My wife and I ate here on 27 July 2020 , the service was fine, correct and honest, the food was good, as you can expect from a Csarda, typical Hungarian , the location is superb.They serve awesome cold lemonade Cherry-ginger in big beer glasses...

We only went for a drink and the waiter was not happy about it...
it is my second time in Tihany and we are planning to come here more often but never this place again! IT WAS AWFULL

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Terrible place, avoid it! We had to wait 79 minutes to get our food, we got the second course first. Food was poor. The toilet was smelly and dirty. Waiter was unprofessional.
10 years ago it was a lovely place with great food, unfortunately not anymore.
