Best Restaurant in Hungary

T	Tak Bardzo Tajny on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Really great atmosphere. Very good gulash (especially one with langosz and free ceramic pot for you as a souvenir, really worth it!) and great pancakes (best dessert I had there in Hungary - absolutely must have if you are nearby). Prices are reasonable - I won't say it's cheap, but it's worth for what they are offering. Also they actually bake everything in the stone oven that stands there, which makes everything delicious.

There are many options for dessert and main course for all types of people. If I lived nearby, this would be a place to visit often. Highly recommended!

They don't serve anything what is not made by them ( even the whipped cream is fresh). They give you good portions for the price. The environment is also authentic, which really makes you feel like visiting your Hungarian grandma. :) The staff is helpful and polite, speak German and English very well. I absolutely recommend it!
E	E Z on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very nice Hungarian food. We arrived at the town around 2pm and our host recommend this place. It’s easy to find but we’re surprised the kitchen is still open. We sit in the courtyard to enjoy the warm autumn afternoon. The restaurant is very good at traditional Hungarian dishes with some local specialties. The fish is fresh from the lake and tastes amazing.
J	Johannes Langer on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Not convincing in terms of food despite a nice atmosphere. Bread was old, the Tihany fish soup way too fatty (the carp itself would have been good). The avocado toast with salmon was good but overpriced of what one gets. Overall not so clear why it has a 4,5* rating which convinced us to go there in comparison to other options.

The gulash was well-seasoned, bread was fresh, prices average. The staff was friendly but could be a little more attentive to the guests signalling a request.
