A templom tornya olyan karcsúra, törékenyre sikeredett, hogy nem bírta el a harangot. Így a XVIII. században egy 14 méter magas harangtornyot rittyentettek ide. Benn a templomban egyedi, bizánci stílusban festett freskók várnak minket. Igencsak jókedvűek. Mosolyognak. A román stílus aszkéta szenvedő szentjeitől teljesen szokatlanul, vidámak. Szokták úgy emlegetni „a mosolygó szentek temploma”. A templombelsőben a román stílusú ablakok mellett gótikus bordázat és barokk berendezés eklektikája nem bántó, sőt…. A freskók mellett békében megférnek a virágos kacskaringók, melyeket a református hívek pingáltattak ide. A növényindák, tulipánok és a szívek 1642 óta díszítik a falakat. Jó ideig néztem a művészeti stílusok keveredéséből született, mégis kerek egész templombelsőt. This Reformed church is the pride not only of Csaroda, but of the whole of Hungary. The beautiful exterior hides a wonderful interior. The tower of the church managed to be so slender, fragile that it could not bear the bell. Thus, the XVIII. century, a 14-meter-high bell tower was scurried here. Inside the church, unique frescoes painted in Byzantine style await us. They are very cheerful. They are smiling. They are completely unusual, cheerful from the ascetic saints of the Romanian style. It is often referred to as the “Temple of the Smiling Saints”. In addition to the Romanesque windows inside the church, the eclecticism of Gothic ribbing and Baroque furnishings is not hurtful, in fact…. In addition to the frescoes, the floral duckbirds, pinged here by the Reformed believers, fit in peace. Plant tendrils, tulips and hearts have been adorning the walls since 1642. For a long time I looked at the whole church interior, which was born from a mixture of art styles, yet round.

Nem bántam meg, nagyon jó látni egy 800 éves mindig változó valláshoz tartozó templom egyéniség. Sajnos csak kívülről láthattuk, de ez is nagy élmény volt. A külsején is vannak régi festmény részletek. This place was not planned for our trip but it fit our time. I did not regret it, it is very good to see an 800-year-old church of an ever-changing religion with individuality. Unfortunately we could only see it from the outside, but it was also a great experience. There are also old painting details on the outside.

A freskók közül a hajó bal oldali falán található szentek alakjai a legrégebbiek, balról jobbra haladva szigorú bizánci rendben, János apostol, Kozma és Damján, az orvosszentek, Szent Péter és Szent Pál, Szűz Mária és a Szent Család követi egymást. Majd a templomban láthatóak a református indák is. Of the frescoes, the figures of saints on the left wall of the nave are the oldest, moving from left to right in strict Byzantine order, with the Apostles John, Cosma, and Damian, the saints, St. Peter and St. Paul, the Virgin Mary, and the Holy Family. Then the Reformed tendrils can be seen in the church.
