Finally freshly baked, homemade pancakes are very cheap in town. The coffee is also delicious! Definitely worth a try, we are sure we will go again :)

I really like the place! So far, I’ve eaten a breakfast menu twice that includes an optional coffee / tea / hot chocolate and 2 American pancakes as you like. I will definitely go back to taste the giant pancakes too! I can only recommend :)

It has become a big hit in the area since it opened. I love to start the day with coffee before work with the boys, we are happy to go back to lunch to make homemade pancakes even after lunch, my personal favorite is gluten and lactose-free nourishing, cottage cheese pancakes, and American pancakes have become a favorite of my colleagues.

I do not recommend to anyone. Two total dilettante guys serve slowly and below standard. They reach for the food with their bare hands, and they also place the scatter from their palms on the pancakes. As for the food itself, it still lets the cinnamon be spilled over into the pancakes. In the requested chocolate and hazelnut sprinkling, they gave cake crumbs instead of chocolate. What was most disgusting, however, was that either the hazelnut or the cake was AVAS. Very. The unpleasant taste remained even after several thorough mouthwashes. This place is the perfect spoiler for a pleasant autumn afternoon.

Unfortunately, I made the mistake of writing a review about them on Facebook, so it was easily disabled. They were certainly not happy to question my compliance with HACCP requirements. Because I value hygiene, I also want to support the success of small businesses, I give an incentive bonus star. So the service and food I got is already worth 2 stars. :)

I found this place on Facebook based on an article by We Love Budapest. I really liked the fact that there is finally a restaurant in downtown Budapest where you can eat freshly made pancakes, all accompanied by high quality coffee! I also really like the name: Candy, it fits absolutely well with the size and color of the place, and the fact that there are many delicious sweets to choose from! The shop is in a very good, easily accessible location, just a few meters from the West. Although the room itself is small, the use of the indoor and outdoor areas has been well resolved. Needless to say, the place is really as beautiful and bright as it looked in the pictures. Candy exudes good design and an atmosphere in line with today's downtown trends. The prices are surprisingly favorable: you can eat for less than 1000 HUF. There are only sweet pancakes in the selection, but according to the owner, they plan to add salty flavors in the future ... I personally asked for a giant Nutellan banana pancake and a Flat White. The dough is delicious, homemade and not spared with stuffing, and the keva was decorated with beautiful art by the barista guy! The service was very flexible and efficient, I didn’t have to wait long for the pancakes, despite being asked for more in front of me. I would love to recommend it, not only to young people, but to anyone who wants to eat delicious pancakes and good quality Italian coffees in a slightly more homely atmosphere in the heart of the city center! I'm sure I'll come again, come on! :)
