It would not hurt an memorial plaque beside the memorial site. Amugy is a good composition. It's worth checking out and interpreting your message. I think it works differently for almost everyone.

There is a memorial near the castle, a few minutes' walk away. Unfortunately, no sign indicates what the group of statues commemorates.

Free to visit, well-kept monument. The columns themselves don't really say what it is, but there is a plaque on the benches on the wall, covered with trees.

After the fall of the War of Independence in 1848-49, the castle came under the control of Russian troops. Károly Kneziich (Knezić) broke his saber rather than put it down intact. This relic of the War of Independence is today the dreaded treasure of the museum. The memory of the Aradians who were once imprisoned here is now preserved in the memorial park at the place of laying down their arms.
