★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It is a great place. Kind of heaven for dog owners. We spent 2 hour here just watching happy dogs playing in the lake.
The facilities are surprisingly good. We could buy coffee, there is a coffee shop, you can buy some food. No dog poop.
Great place! Looking forward to go back sometime in the future!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It is CLOSED in September, even if Google says differently. Long walk form bus/train station and big dissapoinment for us and the dog. BTW there is no beach where the dogs are allowed on the north side of Balaton lake. Beware!

So great for the dogs, they run free and can play with whom ever they want.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Crowded, even had to pay the entrance fee for a 7months old baby... Dog owners don't really care about their dogs, just let them off of the lead and they're running around and hassling other better behaved dogs.not gonna go again.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We arrived on Monday afternoon and it was closed. I guess it's only open on weekends. We drove 40mins just because of it as our dog loves swimming and there is nowhere to go with a dog to the beach around Balaton.. Very disapointed...

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Whilst it’s a great good that we have a dog beach available in Keszthely at all; I must warn future guests that if they do decide to visit… they need to buy those swimming shoes first because the beach is not sandy, it is full of sharp rocks. I cut my sole and unfortunately so did my dog.
If something could be done to get the rocks out and put sand in it would be much safer and a nicer experience for visitors.
